A woman died Wednesday evening after she was hit by a car while trying to cross North Temple on foot.
The woman, 21, of Peru was about 200 feet from the nearest streetlight at about 1800 West when she was hit, said Salt Lake City Lt. Lamar Yule. She may have misjudged the speed of oncoming cars, which travel at 50 mph in that area.See the full content of this document
