Summary
The comments made by Tyler Roberts (Readers' Forum, Sept. 17) about Marjorie Cortez's critique of societal conditions in regard to decorum are probably just. However, a little perspective is in order. Rep. Joe Wilson worked on the legislation about which President Barack Obama was commenting. Wilson knew it intimately -- far better than Obama. Wilson knew the details, ramifications and nuances. And by my count, Obama told not just one lie but at least six or eight. He seems to think that because he says something, he can make it so. And it just ain't so. Maybe it really is time to call a lie a lie.
