Summary


The largest wildfire in Utah's recorded history added to its deadly toll Sunday when high winds whipped up dust and ash from July's 363,000-acre blaze, causing a multivehicle pileup that left two motorists dead and several injured.

Utah Highway Patrol Sgt. Ted Tingey said it was around 4 p.m. Sunday when high winds began to kick up ash left over from the Milford Flat fire, obstructing the views of drivers on I-15 about eight miles south of Meadow in Millard County.
