Whole Foods to Close at Least Eight Wild Oats Stores

Whole Foods Market Inc., the largest U.S. natural-foods grocer, plans to close at least eight of the 75 Wild Oats stores it bought earlier this month.

The final number will probably be closer to 10, Co-Chief Operating Officer Walter Robb said in an interview in New York on Friday. The food retailer plans to announce the final count by the end of the month and will offer jobs to affected employees.
