I remember Dr. J.D. Williams as an impressive professor at the University of Utah when I attended in the early 1950s. Upon graduation with an MBA in 1956, I accepted a position with a company in California, where I worked for many years. When I left Utah, the Democratic Party was a very strong institution because of the leadership of people like Dr. Williams. Nine years ago I moved back to Utah only to find that it had turned into a near one-party Republican state. What happened?
