WEST JORDAN -- Mason Sawyer has become the latest basketball player for West Jordan to commit to an out-of-state school. The senior guard recently committed to play for Boise State.

As a junior, Sawyer averaged 8 points, 6 assists and 2 steals for the Jaguars while helping them reach the 5A quarterfinals. He also distinguished himself as an accurate shooter -- making 56 percent of his shots from the floor and 47 percent from three-point range.
