Summary
Tory Wright's letter (Readers' Forum, June 17) and his concern that the gay pride celebration was "over-publicized" seems a little naive. Newspapers exist to report the news. It seems to me that 40,000 people gathering in downtown Salt Lake City would seem to fit the bill -- especially since local news establishments gush with reports about the two other large gatherings that happen each year a few blocks north of library square.
Wouldn't it be nice that instead of hating each other we all made some attempt at understanding?See the full content of this document
