PROVO -- As top-ranked BYU prepares to meet UC Irvine in Saturday's quarterfinals of the Mountain Pacific Sports Federation men's volleyball tournament, eligibility complaints against the Cougars still linger.

For BYU, the matter is as moot as the recently concluded regular season -- done and over. The university announced last week that after reviewing documentation and information with NCAA investigators, all players were deemed eligible.
