The federal court ruling that no one can edit their own movies for offensive content was truly alarming and bad news for those who stand for decency. If editing for potentially offensive content is such a bad thing, why do it for airline flights and commercial TV? And since edited versions already exist with Hollywood's blessing, why is Hollywood afraid to release those cleaned-up versions for purchase alongside their raunchier versions?
