Summary


Scottish Power Plc, a Scottish utility that owns the largest utility in the Northwestern United States, plans to invest $120 million expanding its U.S. natural-gas storage capacity. The company's shares rose to a 12-week high.

The Glasgow-based company will expand a gas-storage project in Texas and acquire another in New Mexico, Scottish Power said in a Regulatory News Service statement Thursday.
