Ute Tribe Mulls Starting New School District

FORT DUCHESNE, Uintah County -- The Ute Indian Tribe expects to decide by June if it will begin creating a new school district situated between Uintah and Duchesne counties.

Cameron Cuch, the education director for the tribe, said the "new district feasibility study" is designed to determine the economic viability of the proposal, which would include both Native American and non-Indian children.
