Utah State's men's basketball standout Spencer Nelson has been named one of three finalists for the third-annual Collegiate Basketball Award of Excellence, it was announced on Thursday. Aaron Miles of Kansas and Ronald Ross of Texas Tech are also finalists.
On Tuesday, Nelson was named the mid-major Player of the Year by CollegeInsider.com. He led the Aggies to a 24-8 record and the school's fourth appearance in the NCAA Tournament in the past six years.See the full content of this document
