Summary
How long could you last at a piano recital if the pianist sat down, and repeatedly played the same note over and over? I think I could last about one minute. My ears would start ringing, and it would soon become unbearable. Does it mean that it is not a beautiful note? Absolutely not, in fact it could be the most beautiful sounding note on the piano.
