While Ms. Bjorge may find it strange (Readers' Forum, Feb. 14) to hear people complain about the content of television, I find it rather appalling that anyone believes that just turning it off is the answer.
Millions of unsupervised children watch countless hours of tasteless and value-poor programming on TV and developmentally damaging pornography on the Internet. Studies prove that inappropriate images damage children and can lead to antisocial behavior. Protecting our children needs to be our first priority.See the full content of this document
