Police in Tooele County are investigating a crash involving a Utah Highway Patrol trooper whose vehicle collided with a car carrying two small children Thursday.
Tooele County Sheriff's deputies said UHP trooper Jeremy Floyd, 27, was responding to help another trooper with a reckless and drunken driving call around noon when his car collided with the other vehicle in the intersection of U-36 and Bates Canyon Road. The other car was being driven by a woman -- identified by Tooele County sheriff's deputies as Tina Murray, 24, Grantsville -- who had two children, ages 6 and 2, with her.See the full content of this document
