Summary
Utah Transit Authority officers need to address the growing problem of low security on the trains and at the park-and-ride lots. I would love to participate in car free day, but I feel my safety is more important. I rode TRAX every weekday last year, and countless times I found myself in scary situations ranging from witnessing fights to alcohol consumption and even drug selling. I finally had enough, and now I'm driving, despite the gas prices.
If enough people stop riding because of these problems, UTA will lose money, forcing a tax increase, which I won't even get into.See the full content of this document
