The home-field advantage helped the U.S. team collect a record 34 medals in Salt Lake City -- including silver medals in men's hockey and bobsledding, and a gold in the women's 1,000 meter speedskating. Torino is turning into a tougher town for the Americans, although that could change on Sunday.
