Summary
One of the hallmarks of public education is we're all in it together. Whether we're students, parents, potential employers or property owners, we all have a vested interest in ensuring that Utah children receive a solid educational foundation and become good citizens and productive members of the work force. That shared responsibility has traditionally meant sharing the cost.
Recently, a handful of cities have been discussing defecting from their respective school districts to create their own.
