Summary
I would like to express my appreciation for the timely construction and opening of the Pioneer Crossing project, connecting Redwood Road in Saratoga Springs, through Lehi and into American Fork. I praise UDOT and its planning and the contractors, Kiewit/ Clyde, for not only the finished project, but for the way they considered the public in their educational efforts and their constant help to move the traffic around and through the construction area. I especially note that within feet of leaving their work area, they would place a temporary sign indicating that the speed could now be increased. Oh, how I wish other contractors would follow this example.
On the day of the road's opening, I started from American Fork, drove the posted 45 mph and did not have to stop until I was on Redwood Road. I turned around and traveled the same speed and with the same nonstop trip back to American Fork and then, without having to stop, continued north onto Lehi's Main Street.
