Summary
I just read your editorial on teen driving (July 6), and it continues to bother me that adults take on the "we know what's best for the kids" attitude. Teen drivers are less experienced, yes. That, however, does not mean that they are bad drivers. I'm only 17 and it is only 10:30 in the morning, but I have already avoided two accidents almost caused by the same adult driver. I am hardly a perfect driver. I am just pointing out that adults aren't either. If adults want to put driving restrictions on teens, maybe they should consider putting some on themselves as well.
