Summary
For the first time in my adult life -- at least since Jan. 20 -- I was proud of my country. As I watched the tax-day "tea parties," I had a distinct tingle up my leg. I couldn't help but contrast this peaceful public outrage by all of these radical right-wing nuts with the countless destructive demonstrations of the left over the years. It was amazing. I hope to see 10 million on the Fourth of July in a similar event. I'll be there because, at least for now, that date is still an American holiday.
