SALT LAKE CITY -- A ruling handed down by the Utah Supreme Court Friday will allow a murder case that has been pending for nearly five years to move forward.
It was June 1, 2005 when prosecutors say Eryk Drej gunned down his brother Lukasz, who he believed was "pimping" women and then having them killed so that he could then "sell their 'organs on the black market,' " the ruling states. Eryk Drej, then 31, was charged with murder, but was twice evaluated and found mentally incompetent to stand trial.See the full content of this document
