It seems that KJZZ isn't the only local station having trouble with retransmission agreements. Sister stations KTVX and KUCW haven't worked out deals with three (relatively) small cable companies, meaning subscribers could soon lose their ABC and CW signals.
What it comes down to is that cable and satellite companies have to come to an agreement with local broadcasters in order to carry their signal.
