Shots Fired in Fray with 'Public Enemy'

Summary


A police officer's car was rammed and possibly a dozen shots were fired by officers during a wild chase Friday with a former Public Enemy No. 1. No one was injured, but the man was able to get away.

Two drug officers from Taylorsville and West Jordan police received information Thursday that James Carter, named Public Enemy No. 1 by the Salt Lake Metro Gang Unit in September, was in the Taylorsville area.
