Summary
Clifford Lyon, in his letter (Readers' Forum, Oct. 14), seems to imply that President Bush is the anti-Christ and that only those who oppose him are capable of living Christian principles. What arrogance. The argument he makes is just the redressed mantra of the 1960s: question authority.
Why is it that when groups of people begin thinking and behaving similarly, other more "enlightened" people begin labeling them as ignorant sheep? The existence of a group of people holding similar views is not de facto evidence of a herd mentality. His insinuation is demeaning to those of us who do give the issues and candidates careful thought and study, yet believe differently than he does.See the full content of this document
