Sandy Postpones a Vote On Letting Buildings Soar

Summary


SANDY -- The City Council here postponed a vote Tuesday on an ordinance that would have allowed buildings of any height in certain parts of the city.

The ordinance was suggested by the architect of The Proscenium, a proposed project near City Hall that could include a Broadway-style theater, condominiums and office and retail space. Three rounded, glass towers in the project could be 30 stories high.
