Southern Utah completed its 2005 football schedule by agreeing to a home-and-home arrangement with McNeese State, beginning with an Oct. 1 game vs. the Cowboys in Lake Charles, La., with MSU traveling to Cedar City in 2006.
The Thunderbirds' 2005 schedule features three games against teams from both the Big Sky and Southland Football Conferences in addition to the five-game Great West Football Conference schedule. The season begins at Idaho State on Sept. 1, with road games at Texas State and Northern Arizona in the subsequent weeks. The home opener is slated for Sept. 24, when the Thunderbirds will welcome Stephen F. Austin.
