New jobs and an expanding economy gave Salt Lake-area home prices a boost for the three months ended March 31.
In Salt Lake County, the average sales price of a single-family home rose to $188,484, a nearly five percent increase over $179,674 a year earlier, according to the Wasatch Front Regional Multiple Listing Service, which tracks sales of existing and newly constructed homes listed through a real estate agent. The number of units sold dropped to 2,425 from 2,457, a 1.3 percent decrease.See the full content of this document
