Now that a state judge has freed nearly half of Bluffdale's land from the city's oversight, landowners have begun moving forward on plans to develop there.
Development Associates, a real-estate development company with several subdivisions throughout the southwest Salt Lake Valley, said Friday that it plans to build on its 640 acres that were part of a lawsuit over 3,900 acres in southwest Bluffdale -- more than 40 percent of the city's area. Development Associates partner David Millheim said the plans are for a large mixed-use residential development, with homes built in varying densities. The Bluffdale- Herriman area also has been the subject of speculation regarding another future project: the Salt Lake Valley's fifth LDS temple.See the full content of this document
