Riverton High student Garrett Smith has received a $3,000 prize for excellence in jazz dance through the National Foundation for Advancement in the Arts' youngARTs program.
Smith is among 141 students nationwide to receive awards, ranging from $10,000 Gold Awards awarded to six artists; the $5,000 Silver Awards, given to 29; and Level III, II and I Awards ranging from $1,000 to $3,000. That's among a pool of about 7,300.See the full content of this document
