SANDPOINT, Idaho (AP) -- Riley Creek Lumber Co. will close its Sandpoint operations later this year and shift 70 jobs to a Kootenai County sawmill.
Owner Marc Brinkmeyer said the restructuring should make the Chilco mill north of Coeur d'Alene more profitable. Logs sawed into boards at the Chilco mill have been trucked 40 miles to Sandpoint to be dried and run through a planer.See the full content of this document
