Summary
Sounds like the Legislature and the governor plan to tinker with our taxes again. In a recent article, the governor stated that we should expect a revision rather than a reduction. I am a little leery. Every time in the past when my taxes were "revised," I ended up paying more. One suggestion: If parents no longer get to deduct their children, how about giving parents a tax credit when their offspring meet expected scores on standardized tests? This might motivate parents to take a little more interest in the educational process.
