Summary
I don't get it. Last October a police officer shot a man who was unarmed but lunging toward that officer in an attempt to get his gun. Instead of receiving the thanks of a grateful citizenry, he was charged with aggravated assault. Fast forward to April 17. Two Orem officers are assaulted by an unarmed man who manages to shoot one of the officer's guns while it is still holstered and then wrest the other officer's gun away. He then shoots that officer.
One shows restraint by not killing the man who threatens his life and is criminally charged. The other shows restraint in not shooting the man and is shot himself.See the full content of this document
