FILLMORE -- Miles away from the Milford Flats Fire, in towns such as Delta, the smell of wildfire permeated the air, which was hazy Saturday. Visibility for drivers was low, and the amount of traffic on back roads was higher than normal because of the closures of Interstates 15 and 70.
