Is there a positive bone in Sen. Harry Reid's body? Or a constructive idea in his head? He certainly knows nothing about coal- fired power plants, but suddenly he's a world authority in condemning them.

There are plants in Utah, southwestern Wyoming, northeastern Arizona and northwestern New Mexico that produce roughly 10,000 megawatts of power, enough to supply 5 million homes. There is no practical substitute for coal in the distant future, even if we add nuclear power to the mix. We just have to do it right -- and we are.
