Reader Shouldn't Be Teaching

Summary

Alexander Simon (My View, Dec. 26), in his opposition to the "fascists" at his school, cites a quotation from an apparent opponent of Spanish fascism, which is revealing of how very far left Simon must be. Spain in the 1930s was the battleground between two contending evils: fascism and the evil apparently preferred by Simon, communism. He believes, I assume, that communism should have won out. If Simon would take you into his left wing "dream world" in opposition to those who disdain Michael Moore, then a lot of folks have the wrong man teaching their kids.
