A Wasatch Junior High student project to boost safety for deaf children has been recognized in a national competition.
Seventh-graders Stuart Childs, Ben Vayo, Nick Shifrar and Dylan Lorimar noticed motorists rarely slow down when encountering "deaf child" signs.
