MIDVALE -- While there are many unknowns about next year's alignment, there is one fact of which the architects of the new plan are certain.

"We're on our way to a far better product," said Paul Schulte, Highland High principal who spearheaded the ad-hoc realignment committee that studied the issue for nearly six months before offering up a new way of assigning schools to regions and classifications. "I'm 100 percent confident with that."
