Summary
In response to Judge Derek P. Pullan's My View column (June 3), with due respect for the rule of law, he has missed a critical element. He says judges aren't emotional creatures. I completely disagree. My question is this: What motivates a man to go into law in the first place? Why spend thousands of dollars in law school? Is it to become an impartial jurist?
