Salt Lake police talked a man down from the ledge of a nine- story building Wednesday after the man argued with his wife and then threatened to take his life in order to escape police.
The man, 65, was apparently having dinner with his wife about 6:30 p.m. when the pair argued and the man pulled a knife, holding it to the woman's throat and threatening to throw her out the window, Salt Lake police detective Dwayne Baird said.See the full content of this document
