Planes Collide Over Bay, but No One Badly Hurt

TACOMA, Wash. (AP) -- Two small planes collided above a bay near Tacoma on Tuesday, with one landing safely at a nearby airstrip and the other touching down softly in the water, authorities said.

The two people aboard each plane were not seriously injured. The cause of the crash between the single-engine Cessnas wasn't immediately known, and authorities did not immediately identify those involved.
