A patent report compiled by Salt Lake business law firm Stoel Rives, which gathered raw patent stats from the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office, shows that in 1983, Utah inventors were awarded 210 patents. That figure climbed to 525 in 1993 and 847 last year.See the full content of this document
