This pate is perfect for summer entertaining. It is a wonderful cold entree for lunch or dinner. It can also be cut into small squares and served with toothpicks for bite-size hors d'oeuvres, to be dipped in your favorite sauce or put on small crackers or pieces of bread spread with mustard.
It is fabulous for country picnics and everyday brown-bag lunches alike. When packing it for travel, wrap each slice separately, or put each slice in a tightly sealed individual plastic sandwich bag.
