Orem-based iMergent Inc., an Internet business-consulting firm, was barred from operating in North Carolina until a consumer lawsuit brought by the state attorney general is resolved.
A state court issued a restraining order Friday that requires iMergent to refund any money requested by a customer who complains about it to North Carolina Attorney General Roy Cooper's office. The company agreed to the order while not admitting or denying any wrongdoing, the order says.See the full content of this document
