Summary
There has been much misunderstanding and anger regarding gay rights. Having been Mormon, married, having children, coming out, losing friends and family, finding a partner and everything between, all before I turned 30, I am disheartened by the impassable rift that seems to exist between both sides of this argument.
This disagreement is not black and white. It is not an abstract topic or a solely moral debate. There are real people, families and children affected, facing daily discrimination and inequality.
