If President Barack Obama wanted, he could use his powerful influence among his Democratic cohorts to make this health-care reform bill acceptable for the majority of all Americans. Instead, he will sit back and let the Senate and Congress fight it out and then say he could do nothing. As an example, on Sept. 9, Obama looked all Americans in the eye and he said: "There are also those who claim that our reform effort will ensure illegal immigrants. This, too, is false. The reforms I'm proposing would not apply to those who are here illegally ... and no federal dollars will be used to fund abortions."
He should remind Harry Reid and Nancy Pelosi of what he promised and fight for it. Everything that I've read in the House version and the Senate version goes to the contrary.See the full content of this document
