Summary
Regarding Robert Hildebrand's letter (Readers' Forum, Aug. 19): Partiots love this country and its form of government. Patriots have traditionally supported our troops in all wars and supported our government in such strenous times. I remind Hildebrand we have an all-volunteer military at present. No one has to go in the military or to Iraq to serve, and that includes those who have the freedom of speech to criticize Cindy Sheehan, or the Republican leadership for that matter. People like Hildebrand and Sheehan have short memories and have forgotton 9/11. They are trying to embarrass the president and politicize a war, which gives aid and comfort to our enemies.
