Computer gamers who came of age in the 1980s have fond memories of the "point-and-click" adventure. In essence, the play involved clicking on the screen to find whatever objects you needed, then figuring out how to use them.
One of the first such games was 1985's "Deja Vu," a tribute to hard-boiled detective novels. It was the perfect combination of genres, since detective work basically involves searching for clues, and inspired dozens of imitators.See the full content of this document
