Summary
The Census Bureau and the National Academy of Science has recently calculated that one in six Americans are living in poverty. That's 7 million more than the government's official figure. Yet we have political movements telling us our underserved should be pulling themselves up by their bootstraps (I am sure they would, if they had jobs and health insurance) and prefer to whip their adherents into a frenzy with nonstop ideological discussions.
This movement never mentions that there are more millionaires today than the entire population of New York City, and their pundits are now trying to buy football teams.See the full content of this document
