PROVO -- A former BYU Broadcasting employee will serve six months in jail for stealing more than $200,000 in laptops and other equipment from the university.
Allen Scott Harris, 40, of Draper, pleaded guilty in January to two theft charges and two charges of communications fraud, all second-degree felonies. On Thursday, 4th District Judge James Taylor imposed the jail sentence and ordered Harris to pay $201,145 in restitution.See the full content of this document
